Greetings Petshoppers!
It's shipping update time. Unfortunately, global shipping disruptions have reared their ugly head for our US backers. Our North America games are routing through Savannah Georgia. When shipping was booked things were looking good. Now it's the most congested port in the US.

This is looking like at least a 3 week delay in US games. I am hesitant to give a new estimated TTG (time til gaming) for Alien Petshop, BUT late September is probably what we are looking at IF the current delay doesn't worsen. I am so frustrated by this but due diligence doesn't seem to be enough anymore in this chaotic international shipping environment.
For European petshoppers, things are more on track. The boat with your games is rounding Spain now and heading to France. I'll send out an update when games are about to start fulfillment to Europe and the UK.
For Australia and Asia, your games are on their way to fulfillment and should begin local delivery to your home by the end of August to early September.
For backers who pledged the petcrafter and petshopper tiers, your special rewards are shipping in the next 3 to 5 days. These rewards will not include your base games at this time, only the unique items.

Greetings petshoppers!
I have a small update this month, with some estimated dates for getting you your games!
For Europe, Asia, and Australia, your games should begin arriving to your homes in early-mid August.
The UK will be a few weeks after Europe since those games are shipping from our partner in France to the UK to be fulfilled.
Lastly, the US/CA games are estimated for the end of August/Early September.
I expect the August update I send will firm up any wiggle in the dates as games arrive at the fulfillment partners.
This means that addresses have been locked for Asia and Australia. They will be locked for everyone else in 2 weeks.

Credit cards charged for Alien Petshop addons, shipping and VAT (where applicable)

Greetings Petshoppers!
As we are nearing shipping, it's time to charge cards for shipping and addons. Cards were processed today as I mentioned in the last update. Your email on file will receive a different message if the charge succeeded or failed so you know what happened. For 90% of you, this went off without a hitch. If you received an error, refer to the email that was sent by Backerkit. Usually the culprit here is card information was input wrong, or your card expired. If you update the card information, this fixes most issues.
New or updated cards will be charged as soon as they are updated so you'll get quick feedback.

How do I update my payment method?
In your survey:
To update your payment method, click on your BackerKit survey confirmation link that was sent to your email. If you need this link to be resent, please go to our survey recovery page here.
Once you have gotten into your survey confirmation link, click “Edit Your Order”. This will take you to your survey review page and you will see the option to add a new card in place of the one we currently have on file in the bottom-right corner of the page.
In your BackerKit account:
First start by logging in to your account. Once logged in, please click on “Settings” on the top of the page.
Once here, you will see the option to update both your shipping address and credit card information within BackerKit.
Clicking “Add Payment Method” will update your card information across all surveys you have open that are not yet charged. (Keep this in mind in case you only want to use a certain card for a specific survey)
Once done, click the blue button stating “Add Card for (X) projects” and you’re all set! You’ve successfully updated your payment method for all your remaining surveys!

Greetings petshoppers!
I have just a small update for you tonight.
The games have been boxed in the factory in China and we'll be freighting soon to the various fulfillment partners around the world!
Here are some of the cartons in the factory!
Sea freight takes a few weeks (hopefully). So we'll need to lock addresses for Asia, New Zealand, and Australia in the next few days since their copies will go out first by a week or two. Other regions will lock addresses very soon as well.
We're getting their petshoppers!!
